The driver came forward that had previously left a partial note after damaging a car in Lot F. Both parties exchanged the correct information for settlement.
2/15/08 5:00 p.m.
An officer patrolling Twin Oaks and Barham observed a vehicle running a red light. After the traffic stop, the officer determined the driver had a suspended license. UPD cited the driver, and released the vehicle to the driver's mother.
2/16/08 12:32 a.m.
An office responded to a radio call of a possible drunk driver at the intersection of Campus Way and Barham, and stopped a vehicle matching the description. Although the driver and passenger were not found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they were cited for possession of 1.2 and .6 grams of marijuana.
2/16/08 11:30 a.m.
On Twin Oaks, the driver of a blue mustang overcompensated, lost traction on the rear tire, jumped the curb, and collided with the chain link fence. The Mustang had moderate damage to the rear axle requiring the vehicle be towed.
2/17/08 1:05 a.m.
In Science Hall II, an officer discovered a graduate student sleeping in room 304.
2/18/08 3:30 p.m.
A student left a wallet and cell phone in the restroom on the fifth floor of the library. When the student returned, the property was gone. Any info contact UPD.
2/19/08 12:50 a.m.
An officer stopped a vehicle on Twin Oaks with a burned out head lamp, a non operating break light, and found the driver to be under 21 years of age in possession of alcohol. The officer cited the driver for minor transporting alcohol.
