St Patrick's Day gives thanks first and foremost to missionaries. The holiday honoring the famous St. Patrick recognizes a man credited with installing Christian ideals to a pagan Ireland. Following the blessings are joyous celebrations. These celebrations often entail the consumption of liquid cheer.

Enjoy St Patty's Day with at least one of the following five suggested beverages. Prices were obtained from Killarney's in Temecula, California. Note that variations of names, ingredients, and prices exist.

#1 Irish Car Bomb:
Ingredients: 8 fluid ounces of Guinness Stout, 0.75 fluid ounces of Bailey's Irish Cream, 0.75 fluid ounces of Jameson Irish Whiskey
How: Pour Guinness Stout into a regular glass. Pour Bailey's Irish Cream and Jameson Irish Whiskey into one shot glass. Drop shot glass into regular glass and consume rapidly
Cost: $6.50
Taste: The drink tastes relatively smooth for the majority of consumption. Then a slight hint of stout registers to the taste buds. Then a glorious sugary taste takes control until the ending.
One word summary: Fun

#2 Snakebite:
Ingredients: 8 fluid ounces of Strongbow Cider, 8 fluid ounces of Harp Lager
How: In one regular glass combine both Strongbow Cider and Harp Lager. Consume leisurely.
Cost: $5.00
Taste: In contrast to the name, the drink starts smooth, peaks slightly in taste, and finishes even smoother.
One word summary: Subtle

#3 Bushmill's Irish Whiskey:
Ingredients: 1.5 fluid ounces of Bushmill's Irish Whiskey
How: Pour Bushmill's Irish Whiskey into one shot glass. Consume in one swallow.
